  • Counseling and Advocacy in Social Law (Master's program)

    The program in Counseling and Advocacy in Social Law trains students for fields related to social work. These include support in the implementation of social services, gender-specific counseling, counseling for victims of violence, immigrants and debtors as well as bankruptcy advising, legal assistance and advice on topics such as custodial care, fosterage and legal guardianship.   • Gender & Queer Studies (Master's program)

    The interdisciplinary Master’s program in Gender & Queer Studies addresses graduates with different professional backgrounds. Students are provided gender expertise in order to promote (gender) equality as well as (gender) research in academic and non-academic environments. More

  • Pedagogy and Management in Social Work (Master's program)

    The Master's program Pedagogy and Management in Social Work will be discontinued on 31 August 2027 and is therefore no longer available for future applications. We would like to thank all students and graduates who have made this program a success. More

  • Pedagogy in Childhood and Family Education (Bachelor's program)

    Developing concepts for educational work with children and families, questioning and researching concepts and approaches as well as reflecting and shaping practical work with children is the focus of this program. It combines professional and scientific approaches to the rapidly evolving disciplines in the field of childhood and family education. More

  • Social Work (Bachelor's program)

    The three-year Bachelor’s program in Social Work teaches students scientific principles, research methods and practical skills. The degree is state-certified and qualifies graduates for upper-level positions in the social sector. Graduates may also apply to Master’s programs in related fields. More

  • Social Work – Education and Organization (Master's program)

    This Master's degree programme is aimed at future managers in social organisations and opens up opportunities for research-oriented activities. It prepares students to analyse complex social problems such as diversity, social inequality, digitalisation, globalisation and socio-ecological change and to develop innovative solutions. More
